Summer time blues
I can't believe how fast the summer has slipped away from us! In approximately one month from now, we will have kids in the classroom. I'm sure many will agree that the "to-do list" of the summer hasn't been accomplished yet. Here are some things I still want to do:
- Sew! I really want to be able to make an outfit for my baby girl. My mother sewed many of my clothes when I was little, and I want to do the same. I have the pieces cut...but the actual sewing has not commenced! Now I have added classroom curtains to my list.
- Make file-folder games. I have soooo many ideas floating around in my brain to make great early finisher games for ELA. Unfortunately, I also haven't lifted a finger towards them. Every night after I get the baby to bed, I say that is something I plan to work on, but a good book seems to take preference.
- Tan. This holds its own explanation. If you only knew the weird white shade I stay year round, you would encourage me to do so!
- Upload to my Teachers Pay Teachers store. I have so many things floating around that I would love to share on TpT. Somehow when I sit down at the computer, my mouse always drifts towards Facebook. This is definitely cutting into my other computer time.
- Repaint furniture - I have bought several pieces at garage sales that I want to repaint. However, I just love how cool it is indoors rather than outdoors!
I guess I better get with the program though as my time is limited! What do you have left to do before the summer ends?
