So...I am the world's worst at keeping up with this blog!  This first semester blew by so fast I didn't have time to even think about it.  However, now that things have settled down I have had time to reflect.  What a year it has been.  I am in love with my class.  No, really.  Even though they can drive me crazy at times, I have such sweet souls in my room. I am so blessed to be their teacher! As well, I have had the greatest co-workers.  They have truly helped me to grow as a teacher and a person.  All semester, I have wanted to move around my classroom.  I kept holding off until break.  Then, I spent all of the week of Christmas playing with my sweet little girl.  This week was my week! I was going to work at school and get organized! But...it is snowing!  It sure is hard to bring myself to go to school when snuggling by the fireplace is taking place.  So instead, I worked on a new TpT product! We are going to be focusing an expository writing unit around Margaret Wise Brown's classic book, The Important Book, when we return next week.  I have created a bundle that includes a STAAR writing prompt, 4-square planner, revising and editing checklist, and a mini-lesson on using sensory language.  Interested?  I'm going to give it away for free to the first 10 people who comment on this post AND repin the product on their Pinterest board.  I am really trying to get my TpT store (Write on Down the Line...imagine that...)off the ground.  Will you help me out? Let's do this!
