Currently August
This is my first new post on my NEW super-cute blog design by the amazing Christi! Check her our if you are interesting in a new design. But now, it is time for Currently - August. Brought to you by the Ahhhhh-mazing Farley over at Oh, Boy - Fourth Grade!
Listening: My little one is in bed, hubby is playing on the phone, no TV on...I am just basking in the silence. I never mind my noisy life but sometimes sitting in the quiet is just refreshing.
Loving: I seriously need to stay away from Pinterest. I keep finding new things. I am so awed by all the amazing ideas peers from all over the world have created for their classrooms. You guys rock. Thanks for inspiring me! Be on the lookout for my classroom reveal as well...
Thinking: I try to remain positive as much as I can. I know that the beginning of the school year usually brings out the Negative Nancys. It is just nature that when summer vacation ends and changes begin, people grumble. However, when you grumble you forget to be humble! The only way to be successful is to steer clear!
Wanting: This really should be something more thought provoking, but hey: a girl can dream, right? Seriously, I have been eating better and getting up to go run. I need something to help me track my progress. I am also VERY competitive by nature, so linking up with others will help to push my goal.
Needing: I think because I have had so many things up in the air all summer, I have not seriously nailed myself down to grad school. It is August...I better get with the program! Eeeek
B2S RAK: My love language is gift-giving, which is why my RAK will NOT be gifts. I just get carried away! My checkbook has been reminding me lately that the best things in life are free, if you know what I mean! So instead, a quick anonymous note or card to others encouraging them will be my B2S RAK. Everyone loves to get little notes and a kind heart and kind words cost nothing :)
So what is your August currently? Check out Farley's blog and join the linky party. Also - I'm ready to get my rear in gear. Let's do 2015-2016!
I am with you! There are so many amazing classroom ideas on Pinterest! As a matter of fact, my class is Pinterest inspired! I can't wait to see your classroom reveal. I'm not quite done yet.

I thought I was the only one who hasn't been to school to set up my classroom. In this Texas heat, without air-conditioning, I'll have to put on my sweat band and work through it really soon! Double EEEKK! I can't wait to see your classroom, too. I love that Pinterest has given us (teachers) the ability to jazz up our classrooms, making them more appealing and interactive. Have a great year!!
ReplyDeleteI'm Texas too! Fortunately, they turned our air on last week or I wouldn't have started!
Delete"when you grumble, you forget to be humble!" I LOVE that! and I will be posting it in my kitchen! :) My dad always says "A kind word never goes unheard, but too often goes unsaid." So I love the idea of your B2 RAK. ps ... your blog design IS super cute! :)
