Currently January
With my promise to write everyday, I thought I would start with a great Farley link up in Currently January! Want to join in? Link up here!
Listening: If you haven't tried the documentary series, "Making a Murderer" on Netflix, you should. At first, I could not understand the hype. But watch a whole episode and you will be hooked!!!!
Loving: As my sweet KK prepares to turn 3, we have had so much fun over this break. She always wants to play tea party or Star Wars!
Thinking: I started the break pretty steady on the elliptical, but tonight pajamas are the answer. Especially after a day of battling the crowds at the Dillards semi-annual sale!
Wanting: I can't believe Christmas break is over!!! I am ready to see my class kiddos, but I sure could use another week to finish some projects.
Needing: Speaking of being near the end of the break, I better get on those lesson plans. Monday looms ahead.
One little word: My guiding word for this year is going to be JOY! I want to spend my days focusing on the joy in my life. Today's joys include reading with my daughter, spending time with my awesome mother in law, two super cute pairs of leopard print shoes and a new Vera Bradley, a sweet friend getting engaged, and just getting to be with family!
"Joy" is such a great word for 2016. I've been challenged lately by not letting something that doesn't make me happy steal my joy. I'm bad about allowing a small event that made me unhappy to ruin my day. Not this year! :)

I love your word! JOY! I have to remember that, too! That is why I love reading everyone's Currently! It really inspires me! I am joyful today for being with my sister and her family! Take a look at my blog for pics! I would love another week...my one daughter is home from college and it would give us more time. Have a great new year! And thank you for your word!
