Big News!!!!

I have some big, exciting news! I will be presenting a breakout session at Region 16's annual Literacy Conference again this year! Wahoo! I will be talking about using mentor texts with writing and referencing Ruth Culham's The Writing Thief, Jeff Anderson's Everyday Editing, and the Don Killgallon works. As I am working on my presentation, I found this video from Ruth Culham about why we use mentor texts. Give it a quick watch and I am sure you will see why I am so excited about this prospect.
